- Ensure the surface is clean and free of dust
- Cut to size before application – ideally with a plotter or scalpel
- Use a squeegee to avoid bubbles and creases
- Use the right transfer film or application tape

Pro Tip
Use a light mist of water with a drop of washing-up liquid to make adjustments easier during application.
Important: Only use enough water to displace any air bubbles beneath the film. If the design can be slid around on the water film, too much water has been used – this may cause adhesion issues on the surface!
